Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: pspeed on October 22, 2012, 01:35:13 PM Capital letters? still trying to figure that out..lol jk maybe something to do with the new mods and ways to install them for new players :p Put it in the Mythruna-core.jar file? OMG. The very FIRST example in the scripting stickies: http://mythruna.com/forum/index.php?topic=505.0 And I pointed you at it less directly before. This is why I pretty much don't answer your questions anymore. OMG. The very FIRST example in the scripting stickies: http://mythruna.com/forum/index.php?topic=505.0 And I pointed you at it less directly before. This is why I pretty much don't answer your questions anymore. And I answered this exact question here, too: http://mythruna.com/forum/index.php?topic=598.msg2808#msg2808 ...which contains info for both client-side plugins and server-side plugins... since that thread is about server-side plugins. Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: pspeed on October 22, 2012, 01:41:54 PM For the record, my frustration is not with FB. Users need a nice reference on where to install plugins right now because it's not handled automatically yet.
My frustration is with someone who purports to want to learn how to script but hasn't even read any of the examples... or read them once, forgot everything, and now refuses to look at them again. If you want to learn something it helps to keep reading the examples from time to time as your understanding grows... until you understand them completely. So, to sum up this off-topic line of posts, yes, there needs to be a link to how to install plugins in general... for non-scripters. Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Iggyjeckel on October 22, 2012, 02:11:19 PM .....ill get those posts on that list asap :)
Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: belgariad87 on October 25, 2012, 01:09:51 PM i forgot to comment that this is a GREAT idea, and for this to please be updated regularly when new content/ideas are out.
I actually have this post favorited, which so far i had only done with the main site and the forum sections page. Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Iggyjeckel on October 25, 2012, 01:16:19 PM I will update when I can, I use my phone mainly when im on forums, so its sometimes difficult
Once I get more links I plan on making sections One for tech problems, then another section for in game ideas (magic, skills etc) so on and so forth Thank you btw :) Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: pspeed on October 25, 2012, 02:11:49 PM I will update when I can, I use my phone mainly when im on forums, so its sometimes difficult Are you using something like tapatalk or just hitting it as a web page directly? Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Iggyjeckel on October 25, 2012, 02:21:57 PM Just as webpage
Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: pspeed on October 25, 2012, 02:24:03 PM Just as webpage ah, yeah, that would be painful. I sometimes use tapatalk on my mobile devices. Another Mythrunian convinced me to set it up for the forum. The app isn't free, though, but it's nice than the web site from a mobile. Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Iggyjeckel on October 25, 2012, 02:27:56 PM Yeah the not free part is why im not using it lol
Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: belgariad87 on October 25, 2012, 04:54:34 PM i check the forums throughout the day on my pc, the school pc's, and my psp which im on now
Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: BenKenobiWan on October 25, 2012, 05:27:43 PM To continue this off-topicness, I check the forums from my PC, my iPad, and my dumbphone.
Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: ap0r on October 26, 2012, 04:35:08 AM Maybe this topic should be made sticky? to avoid having people asking dumb questions over and over on the forums? lique a FAQ?
Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: pspeed on October 26, 2012, 08:52:41 AM Maybe this topic should be made sticky? to avoid having people asking dumb questions over and over on the forums? lique a FAQ? Yeah, I've been thinking about stickying it. It won't make people read it but people who look for it will be able to easily find it. Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: pspeed on October 26, 2012, 08:54:30 AM Maybe this topic should be made sticky? to avoid having people asking dumb questions over and over on the forums? lique a FAQ? Yeah, I've been thinking about stickying it. It won't make people read it but people who look for it will be able to easily find it. And... done. If the reply thread ever gets too long then we can copy the first post to a new sticky topic and link it to this one. I've seen other forums do that with potentially rolling comment threads like this. Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Iggyjeckel on October 26, 2012, 09:30:03 AM Next time im on my comp ill start making catagories so it can be organized a little better
Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: belgariad87 on October 26, 2012, 09:31:51 AM Next time im on my comp ill start making catagories so it can be organized a little better organization is nice but complete info is better.Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Iggyjeckel on October 26, 2012, 09:37:16 AM Yeah I know there is still moreissing, its just easier to input a single url than to organize it when on a phone
And im always up for what others feel should be on here. To me these links were a gopd stepping stone. To others they may have found others useful. Id like to make this list a very diverse area, one.where if you need info, find it here....just not every thread imaginable lol Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Michael on December 15, 2012, 01:33:46 PM If anyone has any ideas as to what should be here, please let me know lol add this topic: http://mythruna.com/forum/index.php?topic=1200.0 Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Blackslash on December 17, 2012, 07:18:00 PM To continue this off-topicness, I check the forums from my PC, my iPad, and my dumbphone. what do u mean by "dumbphone" Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: BenKenobiWan on December 17, 2012, 08:05:42 PM To continue this off-topicness, I check the forums from my PC, my iPad, and my dumbphone. what do u mean by "dumbphone" Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Rayblon on April 07, 2015, 10:18:49 AM is this still being maintained?
Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Iggyjeckel on September 25, 2015, 05:31:46 PM I have failed at keeping this maintained because I have moved from an indifferent job where i didnt take to much time into doing it, to a full fledged career that takes up 40+ hours a week as well as buying a new house and deciding it was a great time to buy a puppy all while also having all 3 kids in school....
so in short, i've failed :( Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Rayblon on September 26, 2015, 03:10:46 PM I have failed at keeping this maintained because I have moved from an indifferent job where i didnt take to much time into doing it, to a full fledged career that takes up 40+ hours a week as well as buying a new house and deciding it was a great time to buy a puppy all while also having all 3 kids in school.... so in short, i've failed :( Honestly, the links here are still useful. Especially for newcomers. Even if it's not being maintained, it's a success in the sense that it's still helping people. Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: Rayblon on October 08, 2015, 08:23:36 AM :\
I sent iggy an updated ToC almost two weeks ago and he hasn't gotten back to me. I guess I'll just post it in its own thread and link it here for the time being. Here it is. (http://mythruna.com/forum/index.php?topic=2228.0) Hopefully the stuff I added is helpful. Title: Re: Table of contents Post by: BenKenobiWan on October 09, 2015, 11:08:16 PM I've set this un-sticky since the new ToC contains all the same links and more.
