I'm a bit of a leech to the modding community, I know... But would it be possible to create a CLIENT mod that makes it look like it's always noon? It's annoying having to wait for the night-time darkness to be bearable to continue excavating.

Anything's possible when you program.
It might be easily feasible with the engine, I know at places where there's a way to access what current time it is, but whether it can be set, I don't know.
If we were to make a simple switch for it, we'd have to modify the client ourselves. :/
