Title: How do I create a different item? Post by: Thalorian on September 27, 2012, 01:57:13 AM There are different items that I've noticed, but I can't seem to utilize them, and, for some reason, I can't seem to turn around the slopes, I was also wondering if it was possible that we could create a area were "humans" would spawn, me and a couple friends want to build a kingdom, literally, massive spanning cities, and a massive castle, but, we can't figure out how to create a way for humans to spawn, if we can't do that, it'll just be a empty ghost kingdom.

Just curious, but, will there be more blocks than what is currently there? Also, I must say, this is far better than any other similar game I've played yet. But, will we be able to "Fly" eventually? It is rather hard to do detail on tall buildings, we have had to create towers and such so that we can get to these high places and build.

It is rather hard to do detail on tall buildings, we have had to create towers and such so that we can get to these high places and build. There will be flying but probably not like you mean. I may support some kind of hover in build mode someday but it's not a priority. Sometimes some of the challenge is figuring out how to build something. I use a lot of scaffolding and a lot of climbing. On the public server you can also use the ~escape command which teleports you to max height above your current location. I think I made these scripts available somewhere for people who want to use them on their own server or in single player. Title: Re: How do I create a different item? Diret copy paste 5.36.99.171 = Game Host 4234 is the Port to be completley honest, I am not sure what's wrong with it, I know I actually had to restart my computer before it would allow me to connect, perhaps, there is a gltich? Unique to my server? try restarting your PCs after entering the information needed, I spent hours trying to get it to work, and then, bam, restarted my computer, and it worked fine. If I'm not, sorry, but, if I could I'd say that you should create a way to instantly fill ceartain areas, such as blocks you can set to fill anything in between them? So line a area with them, and then press the button, and choose a ceartain block, and it insta fills? It would caertainly save me a LOT of time when I'm or other people are filling out floors, or, like me, I have to line a entire cities ground worth of stone, or, a way to remove blocks in the same manner.

I see what you mean, like if you have ever used a smartboard, while erasing, circle the area you want to erase then tap the middle and it all disappears. That may seem like when making a huge castle, it takes 1/3 of the time it originally would. like you place one block, then instanly -POOF!- you got urself a castle ;) I don't really like the idea of that to be honest.. the urge to want to finish would be gone rather quickly and make it more boring ?maybe? Asking repatedly about wanting to learn more, teach me, etc etc can get tiresom to those who the questions are aimed at.
