Starbound is a free-roam sandbox universe exploration game. Much like terraria in terms of how it looks in 2D. But on a much bigger scale. http://playstarbound.com/

I like the shadow that you receive upon the depth of the walls and floors, real 3d feel

It's nearly completed, in terms of generation and exploration. The only thing mostly incomplete is the NPCs, and quests.

I was about to say that looks like a complete rip-off of Terraria. Ayway, still looks neat Cheesy))

I was gonna make a starbound post after it was finished Tongue no sense in getting people worked up over something they can play in a month or two.

But i have been watching starbound for a long time. It sounds like it has the ability to be random and fresh while still having a nice flow and mood throughout your entire playthrough, from beginning to end. I highly recommend it. Especially if you even slightly liked terraria.
