Title: Daily Trivia Question #6 (10/28/14)
Post by: Rayblon on October 28, 2014, 01:13:30 AM
In 1904, a Las Vegas hospital suspended workers for betting on when patients would die.

Not my best work but I digress. Summin ain't quite right here.

I think I would do well in the business of gambling on death.

I don't find death pools offensive. Death is something that will happen to us all. The only problem is when you try to manipulate the death pool by helping someone die without their consent. In a way isn't life insurance for other people a death pool?

Yeah, but that's why it's so distasteful when it's the health care professionals doing it as it feels like a major conflict of interest not in our favor.

The thing that isn't right is the fact that vegas was founded in 1905, so there couldn't have been a hospital then.

I don't think I'm up to par with this series of questions... :L

Feel free to take the trivia series over indefinitely if you'd like. I'm not good at trivia anyway. xP
