General Category / General Discussion / Light Switches... or other mechanisms?
|
on: July 16, 2013, 09:03:40 PM
|
I just got another idea - an easy to use mechanic system! If the player could place some kind of switch and place a source of light, and connect them on a channel system, whereas the very first channel is named Channel 1 or just 1, and place them on two or multiple sources of light. That system could apply to all if mechanisms became an abroad system. Just a thought Edit: What about ingame weather, too? Excuse me if there already is, I cannot play the game but most gladly will make suggestions.

Clothing options with even full face ninja masks that only show the eyes would be a good basic option.

Well at least u draw better then me which isn't a compliment i still draw stickman
There is an acquired taste for drawing Stickman. They are quite simple, but imagination can make them do complex things.

General Category / General Discussion / Mirrors
|

Mirrors would be an awesome addition to the game, mainly after player modelling is created. They would be good as thinner surface plates (similar space usage to minecraft's slabs) that can be placed on walls, floors and ceilings/rooftops giving off a reflection from the mirrors point of view. I've seen it done before on map mods for games, but not in Battlefield 3 by EA. I have no clue how to create it, except for the fact that the mirror model is assigned a texture, then the reflective property is assigned by a shader. TL;DR: Mirrors would be a good addition as a slab feature.

Wow I feel dumb, I just saw the "By now" detail. Above all else, at this point in time, a lot of people have this problem. I'm no expert, but I'd reccomend investing in the possibilities of adapting the issue, if that will help Intel graphics cards and won't compromise other ones.

I may think otherwise, there are many "Wont open" threads that mention Mythruna closing immediately after it opens, and I have that same problem. I'll post the error message.
Uncaught exception from thread:Thread[LWJGL Renderer Thread,5,main] java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: GLSL and OpenGL2 is required for the LWJGL renderer! at com.jme3.renderer.lwjgl.LwjglRenderer.initialize(LwjglRenderer.java:166) at com.jme3.system.lwjgl.LwjglContext.initContextFirstTime(LwjglContext.java:131) at com.jme3.system.lwjgl.LwjglContext.internalCreate(LwjglContext.java:168) at com.jme3.system.lwjgl.LwjglAbstractDisplay.initInThread(LwjglAbstractDisplay.java:128) at com.jme3.system.lwjgl.LwjglAbstractDisplay.run(LwjglAbstractDisplay.java:205) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) Application was not initialized.

You probably have an unsupported graphics card, and I have this problem too.
"UnsupportedOperationException: GLSL and OpenGL2 is required for the LWJGL renderer!"
Do you get this string in the error messages Shzylo mentioned?

I have this problem. After going through many threads, I conclude that your graphics card must be better, more specifically you need a graphics card with an OpenGL2 and GLSL setup, even more specifically most Nvidia graphics cards.
"UnsupportedOperationException: GLSL and OpenGL2 is required for the LWJGL renderer!"
Do you get any error messages that contain that string where the Mythruna.exe is?
