Just thought I'd ask,

Does anyone watch anime here? Cuz I seem to be on an anime trip recently. If so, which ones?

Depends on what you are into, I suppose.

I really enjoyed the series: Inuyasha, Full-Metal Alchemist (haven't watched Brotherhood yet), and Avatar - The Last Airbender (really is one of my favorites.)  But all for different reasons.

Whether you consider Avatar anime or not sort of depends on where you draw the line, I suppose.  That and FMA has a few episodes that made me feel all of the feels.  And without spoiling too much if you haven't watched it, the ending of Avatar has to be one of the best series wrap-ups ever.  I honestly had no idea how they would wrap it up until the actual climactic resolution.  I'm still really impressed by that piece of writing.

FMA was a little looser and sometimes preachy... but I enjoyed it.

I'm only barely into Anime, though.  People have recommended a ton of great stuff that still sits in my Netflix queue. Smiley

Here is a list of Anime that I have watched, telling if I still watch:
  • Full-Metal Alchemist - Watched
  • Full-Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - Watched 3 times, still watching it
  • Naruto - Finally getting to watch, when I was little as soon as it came on I had to go to bed.
  • Inuyasha - Used to, got bored of it. I have wanted to get back into it for months but I never really tried.
  • One Piece - When I was little, not anymore even since it came back on air.
  • DragonBall Z/GT - I was into it for years, this is what got me to be a great anime artist, but I think I lost that ability once I got a computer, or I just got bored of drawing the same thing 300000x for years Smiley
  • Avatar - The Last Airbender - I would still watch it if we had the channel for it (nicktoons).
There may be a few others that I can't think of at the moment.

Hayao Miyazaki made some pretty awesome movies
https://www.google.com/search?q=Hayao+Miyazaki&oq=Hayao+Miyazaki&aqs=chrome.0.69i57&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&fp=e31d7942875cde73&q=Hayao%20Miyazaki%20movies&safe=off
I've only seen Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, and Porko Rosso but they have all been great.

Of course The Last Air Bender and The Legend of Korra too, I'd be crazy if I hadn't watched those.

Howl's moving castle and Spirited away are both MUST WATCH movies. If you have the time Paul, WATCH THEM. Studio Ghibli is amazing.

I have... I'm not the OP. Smiley  Well, I haven't watched all of Spirited Away yet but I've seen HMC a bunch of times.

Is it sad i've seen all of these and much more? I'm an anime freak  Grin

DBZ, Avatar and Spirited away all have a growing nostalgic feeling to them, but they were my favorites. Nowadays it's FMA, Code Geass, Last Exile, Samurai Champloo, etc.

Actually, I do have yet to see Castle in the Sky, that is high on my list currently! will sit down for it after I'm done with Fairy Tail.
