Game development isnt as simple as "im going to make a game and it will be awesome. A LOT of the time requires hands off the keyboard time. A developer tool like "rpg maker" i dispise....ok yes you can create a game...but its not YOURS, find a language and make simple programs
is it really that bad im taking a class on it in the summer

I read this book because it covered 2d and 3d, and all of the math used to make a game. It was really quite interesting. It talked about game marketing too.

The cover art is actually from a student as well. He only wrote the book because the book that was being used annoyed him, so he wrote his own... And it was picked up by the college

For the java gurus who wanna make awesome games I have 2 words to say. JMonkeyEngine and LibGDX probably da best tools out there! Im currently working with LibGDX (or better struggling)

Agreed. I work with JMonkeyEngine, and that is the best development tool ever.
