Whenever you launch the launcher you should have some graphical settings and you should see a row that says either disabled,2x,4x,6x,8x, or 16x. Do not exceed 4x on that option or it will crash. Hope this helps!

That depends on the graphics card. I've tested at 16x and it just runs slow. "Disabled" is the best option for compatibility, though.

Sorry you are having trouble... that's an odd one. I think there have been others with your graphics card that have run successfully. Please try upgrading your display drivers to the latest ones. It might fix the issue.

For some reason, that dialog window seems to give users options that they can't possibly use... I'm not sure there is a good way to sort through all of the unavailable options but someday I will try.

Is it just amd devices having this problem? Because I find it quite hard to believe that my 6950 can't handle more than 4x

The game is trying to choose a pixel format that it likes and has 16x anti-aliasing and your driver says "no". I don't know if it's because it's windowed mode versus full screen or what other reason your card might be rejecting it. The specs for the 6950 say that it supports up to 24x but I don't know what kind of restrictions it imposes to get that. I just tested on my nVidia GTX 460 and it worked fine in windowed mode. (It took 200 FPS down to 50 FPS but it worked.) I'm not really a graphics hardware expert. I just plug the settings into the library and hope it's doing it's job... but the fact that 4x works says that the library is probably ok. Maybe it's related to the fact that I need frame buffer object support for post processing. <shrug> I actually wish I knew because it would be step 1 in removing the options that won't work.
