I got a question about armour.
We need to smelt for armour and also skin for armour and smith the armour.
but do we use only 1 item or 2 items to make an armour like (skyrim reff) leather strips and hide to make leather gloves.?
or do we need for example 20 metal plates to make metal gloves?
I'd lke the 20 pieces of metal, couse it makes everything a few tiers higher and you appriciate your work and time you put in it.
and when you wear it you will be more carefull when you walk by the enemy.

Crafting will closely follow the way it works in real life.
If metal gloves have to be made from a bunch of metal plates then you will have to make or buy the bunch of metal plates... or cut them from a larger sheet or whatever. You will also need to craft or buy the pins needed to put them together.
I haven't designed this in detail yet but I want it to work similar to weapons crafting in the sense of having to follow all of the loose steps, put bunches of ideas/crafts together to make one, and still have room for customization.
