It could just be me, but the Shuldzo joke seems like it's getting a bit old. Tongue

Bearing with you shall be my pleasure.
I'll keep praying that God will give you guys some of His peace in this stressful situation.

Well, I'll be praying, too. Brain surgery has to be tough to go through. Undecided

::snip::
Oh. Maybe, I'll think about it. I have quite a few people I RP with on the MC Forums and we get pretty Intense. One of the best one's 'died' and I haven't heard from him in awhile, so that's sad.
It always is a bit of a reality-check to realize that internet people are both real and mortal.

We were pretty much the best RPers there, AKA, we posted tons and tons of words per post while everyone else just has 1-10 sentences at a time Tongue....
I hope I didn't imply that you didn't put much effort into your writing, it's just that most RPs I see don't have much effort put into them. Do you have a link to one of your RPs? I might want to check it out.

When you say "were" do you mean you don't RP any more? I haven't been able to for a while, either, though I hope to get back into it.

HOW'D YOU MOVE- WHAT!?!?!
I became a moderator... yesterday? Or day before? In any case, I promise to be nice.

::snip::

What kind of RP? Play-By-Post or MMO? (Or what)
Play-By-Post. MCForums. Pretty fun over there, I have a Herobrine RP... I think I should bring in Brinehero sometime; you know, as an extra evil guy- whatever they're called. . . .
Enemies, nemesis, hostile, ect.
Have fun modding that Smiley
Modding? Sorry? I don't speak Java Tongue... not yet at-least, just too darn lazy to start back up on my Inter-Web Lessons Tongue
Either he meant moderating (the RP), or he doesn't know that Play-by-Post is done on forums, and isn't a video game.

I'm on a fantasy PBP RP site as Ryvic Darkveil (on both forums). It might be a bit more intense (writing effort-wise) than you'd be used to on the MineCraft Forums, but since everyone puts so much effort both into RPing and developing the world, it's a pretty incredible site. If you check it out, make an account on the RP forum and shoot me a PM, or just set yourself down and start reading some of the entirely-fictional-yet-fascinating histories and descriptions of creatures, etc.

This topic has been moved to General Discussion, because it is.

I KNEW SOMEONE WOULD SEND ME THAT IMGTFY LINK XD
LMGTFY. it's an acronym.

BTW Paul: Off Topic: Any reason why my 'Total Time Logged In 1 Days, 17 hours and 33 minutes.' won't go any higher? It's minutes goes up by one for like every day or two Tongue
Total time that you have this forum pulled up.
I know... I have this pulled up in a tab 24/7 Tongue.. I'm just RPing in other places while I wait for posts. RP, FOR THE WIN!
What kind of RP? Play-By-Post or MMO? (Or what)

It's probably not very smart of me, but I let Aurora (Firefox) keep track of all my passwords and just have a really strong master password.
85  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Linux and passwords and stuff on: April 12, 2013, 07:34:04 PM
This forum deserves an Off Topic Award.
There, I split it. I would have moved it to the General discussion board, but I'm new to being a Mod (and Paul might not have given me that power)
86  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Survival questions on: April 12, 2013, 07:10:40 AM
more than likely Tongue he don't have time to write out every response especially with how many topics he has going Cheesy
While it's true he probably doesn't have the time, he does write out most of his answers. Tongue

im scared to switch to Linux..

I haven't switched yet, I just really want to.

I'll probably go with a dual-boot for a while so I can pick my way through the textbook I got from the library, then fully switch once I know my way around.

Maybe start with a VM in VirtualBox or something.  Then you can wipe it and start over, roll  back to previous versions, try out different distros in parallel, whatever...
I'm actually using VirtualBox to run the really old version of Red Hat that came with the textbook, but I haven't yet succeeded in running a Debian ISO.
Soon I'll have more free time to mess around with it.

im scared to switch to Linux..

I don't want to... you can't play every game on Linux can you? D:... Plus, I'm used to Windows. Windows are for gamers, that's who I am. I invented gaming, so Paul, give credit where credit is due.
Windows is an unreliable operating system, sold on an outdated concept that only survives because of peer pressure, branding, and fear. Linux is more reliable, has more options, etc.

Rumor has it you can run any .exe on Linux using programs like Wine (Windows emulator, basically). I haven't had such luck yet, though.

If you use your OS as a way to relate to your computer; a way to control it, Linux is better. If you use your computer to show you pictures of a controllable world (games), there's no especial need to switch from Windows.
89  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Weapon Design Ideas on: April 11, 2013, 08:04:44 PM
OH! I have an idea, a gun that shoots a 45 caliber Nyan Cat bullet  Cheesy
That's already planned to be sold by vendors cheaply. No it's not.
seriously?

dude it was a joke lol xD
What? No it wasn't. Me and Paul had a talk about it. It's supposed to be a secret weapon you find inside the 'Dragon Dungeon'.... I'm not supposed to tell you this, but you can climb into them and explore their insides!!! Zelda anyone?
>_>

lol I'm too smart for online schools Tongue
^ This is not true. Online schools teach harder things than public schools. I learned it the hard way. LITERALLY, GWAHAHA.
I'm in distance-learning college, which is basically online. High-five!

And cool mod. I'll test it out soon.
That sounds cool, if not difficult to work out since it's on the internet, which isn't always reliable.
The tests are taken at a local college I'm not enrolled in, and the studying is done at home, mainly online.

Edit: The tests are CLEPs. The program I'm enrolled in is CollegePlus. You can google both of those (or PM me if you prefer, but let's try and keep this thread somewhat on topic).
