Title: Error: Shader link error
Post by: konggary on November 25, 2012, 03:45:36 PM
When I start up Mythrunia, I get to the main screen just fine. When I try to start a single player game, or a multiplayer one, this error pops up
"Error:Shader link failure, shader:Shader[language=GLSL100, numSources=2, numUniforms=20, shaderSources=[ShaderSource[name=MatDefs/MyLighting.vert, defines, type=Vertex], ShaderSource[name=MatDefs/MyLighting.frag, defines, type=Fragment]]] info: Fragment shader(s) failed to link, vertex shader(s) linked.

Is there any way to fix this?

Also, I should mention it pops up on the loading screen, while it says "starting game systems"

This is a problem on some lightweight ATI cards. There is no documentation by ATI on this error so there is no way to fix it. Other than making sure your graphics card is up to date there isn't much else you can do.

Yeah, sorry you are having trouble.  Sean nailed it, though.  It's really unfortunate.
