That people will one day contain no more evil towards one another; that people will live in a Utopian society successfully.
Odd as this may sound, malice is something I think is important. War is something I can do without, but... well, without malice, and the assumption of malice, it's easier to let a dystopia take hold, I think. When you don't have suspicions or fear, you have that much less reason to keep an eye on it and monitor it.
