Title: Today was the first day I've ever been throttled. Post by: Rayblon on August 17, 2014, 10:37:06 PM For years, my family has had a nary untouched unlimited data plan. We rarely use it, but today I got a text message saying we're being throttled. They don't want me going on vacation, I suppose.
Thanks AT&T, I can feel the love. Title: Re: Today was the first day I've ever been throttled. Post by: pspeed on August 18, 2014, 01:23:20 AM Reminds me of back in the old "dial up" days where I had an "unlimited" plan through my ISP. But they would kick my connection if it was idle for an hour or whatever so I setup an autodial to reconnect on drop. Within a week they'd banned my account and I had to call them to come to an agreement on what they meant by "unlimited" because it certainly wasn't the book definition. ;)
