Title: The Discussion #7 (1/16/15) Post by: Rayblon on January 17, 2015, 05:05:57 AM When Mythruna is 'completed', what kinds of tasks would you most likely undertake? In other words, what would your job be?
Title: Re: The Discussion #7 (1/16/15) Post by: Rayblon on January 17, 2015, 05:12:45 AM I would probably specialize in two things, medicine and architecture/city planning. That said, I would have to rely on alot of people to maintain my character's lifestyle.

And you wonder why I don't like reptilians. Do more quest, get more money/reputation, buy more stuff, learn more skills, then build an empire.

Do more quest, get more money/reputation, buy more stuff, learn more skills, then build an empire. Yeah, even when I play Minecraft with my kids, I like to imagine that I'm the lone hunter/explorer... self-sufficient and always looking over the next hill. That's the way I play Mythruna now... I can wander and explore for hours. It will be fun when it's more of a challenge and there are more different things to explore. In the case of MC with my kids, I carry a bed with me everywhere so we can all still sleep through the night even when I'm several days away from them. (certain monsters rarely spawn on the land that way... creeper-free, for example.) Unfortunately, I can never stay too far from home base because the kids will sometimes need me again... and we've built a really nice base that's nice to come back to. But in Mythruna, on my own games, I will probably have small homes all over the place and may not even remember exactly how to get back to spawn. For some reason this made me think of a scene from Monty Python's Holy Grail... Quote DENNIS: I told you. We're an anarcho-syndicalist commune. We take it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week. ARTHUR: Yes. DENNIS: But all the decision of that officer have to be ratified at a special biweekly meeting. ARTHUR: Yes, I see. DENNIS: By a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs,-- ARTHUR: Be quiet! DENNIS: --but by a two-thirds majority in the case of more-- |
