Hi. Sorry it is running slow for you... though 15 FPS is alot faster than for some. Was that on single player or on the public server? Are you running windowed or full screen? Actually, if you can post your client.log file then that might be helpful... at least the first bits with all of the video settings information. Then I can avoid a lot of questions like that. Title: Re: Laggy on windows 7 Post by: Vander on July 13, 2012, 07:57:41 PM On 16bpp single player the FPS averages about 8 fps, then when I run 16bpp online the average fps is 2 to 3. I haven't ran online with 24bpp but when I run it 24bpp on single player the fps averages about 3. This is the latest client.log:

Thanks for the help. Title: Re: Laggy on windows 7 Post by: pspeed on July 13, 2012, 08:59:04 PM I think it should have also showed what the application settings were.
I assume from the other post you got the suggestion of lowering clip (f12), lowering shader quality (f8), etc. The spawn town on the public server is way overbuilt and kills performance. That's why I asked about that. In single player and elsewhere in the public server, I get up to 200 FPS... but in spawn town on the server I get 30-40 FPS. Title: Re: Laggy on windows 7 Post by: Moonkey on July 14, 2012, 09:28:10 PM It's best to limit frame-rate. All of those spare frames over 120 cause more heat from the computer. I think.
