Title: (Idea) [Building] Quick Objects
Post by: Teknonick on September 04, 2012, 01:43:38 PM
 I. Main Features
  1. Binded keys for placing blueprints. You can bind a key (By typing, or though a gui) that when you click it, it places the Blueprint you binded to that key!
  2. ADV Bind. You can bind a key to place a Blueprint AND place it at a specific angle, height and location on the block!
  3. SPR ADV Bind. You can bind a key to place a Blueprint, place it at a specific angle, height and location on the block, enable collision and make mobile!

 II. Small Features
  1. Easy usage
  2. Faster building
  3. Time saving

 III. Notes
Yep, please let me know what you think! If you need me to clear it up a bit, I would be happy too ;) The basic idea is, you push a key and it places a Specific blueprint of your choice with all the settings to selected...

Lol, but. I mean it would be a nice way to be able to place objects really fast! (I've been building this farm by using objects for awhile and it's getting very tedious to place the object, make it collide and make it exactly centered...) Oh well lol...

But someday there will be a quick bar and a bunch of other stuff.  I'm not going to be adding many features to the current interface because it's kind of a waste of time.

I don't really understand what you mean - please explain if i did not get this right:
You will add a quickbar which is like the one in Minecraft to select your items faster? Sorry for the comparison of Minecraft.

No, the quickbar will be different... Depending on what items you have (Shiethes, bags ETC) on the side of your character let you do that... So when you first start off, you will be stuck with searching though your backpack to use an item... That's Kind-of What he told me lol

Ooops.  You do something long enough and you forget some of the little things that aren't common knowledge.  Whoops.
