i believe either priority or weight is how much the server can hold. i don't know what "points to" is, or ttl, i can only have ttl set to what it shows on the image.

I think don't worry about priority or weight... I suspect that just helps sort incoming packets.

I'm curious what is under "Type" as options.

TTL = "time to live"... one hour is fine.
Points to = I imagine that's the machine IP address on your network that connections to that port should be connected to.

You've provided no context but I assume this is a settings page on your router or something.

Idk, I just found a site that offers free dns called cloudns.net and it offers up to 3 free dns domains.

and for type, i think its just for the type of domain it is. I put SRV because it sounded like server. here are the options:

A
AAAA
MX
CNAME
TXT
NS
SRV
Web Redirect

Yeah, this service sounds very "no frills".  Even I don't know exactly how I'd configure it without some investigation.  It's been a long time since I played with raw DNS records... and essentially that's what it's letting you do.

Remember, be safe on the internet. The internet is notorious for calling something free in a weird place, and then installing free malware, or even a free worm. :)

Yea, it hasn't offered me any downloads. I trust it until it says "DOWNLOAD THIS!!!"
