Hey all im back on school holidays so ima start a new project :]

i tryed to make this castle a few years back in mc and im going to give it a attempt here, i was almost finished building it in a server when a jelly noob set fire to it and destroyed it and i rage quit the game hahahahha

I have a picture of this exact castle in my "concepts" folder where I collect random images.  Look forward to seeing it.

4000th post? I'm confused. Because it should display "4000"+ posts under your name. Sorry I am really stressed by trying to handle school right now haha :P so much work!

Maybe he meant 400th?

lol i just checked the stats and we have made it to almost 7000 posts since i posted this, i thought 4000 was a achievement but we have almost doubled it in only a few months :p congratulations paul

I am flipping out lately..

I had to laugh the other day when we reached 6666th post, but then paul posted something and it became 6667

Note: that the counts are different for different people, I think.  It depends on what groups you have access to.  The count I see says ~6744 right now.

At least I think that's how it works.  I can't tell for sure since I can see all of them. :)

Mine shows 6745 noew, so im guessing count is good no matter the access privaledge

My city will have a chinese emperor's palace ad the capital. Chinese theme ftw! Finally, watching chinese fighting moview pay off. (Old ones too)

By the way... if anyone is good at building objects or blueprinting could you please help me, im not saying what im doing yet because its going to be the main secret for this castle but its big and its hidden and it stretches thousands of blocks underground and i need many objects to put in there... :P help designing these objects would be appreciated hehe

Thousands of blocks? That's pretty ambitious; Atlantis Minor is less than 200 blocks I think.

I draw cultural inspiration from historical Asian cultures in a few different cases.  For example, elves in their patient way of life will borrow heavily from the non-warrior aspects of Samurai Bushidō.  The reptilians will draw much from the mongol empire, at least as far as the reptilian ancient history goes.

I like Asian architecture (actually, I like all foreign architecture on some level) so you will see those different influences blend into the buildings that aren't strictly medieval steampunk human.

While I will try to make the races unique and interesting in their own ways, as far as close analogues, the elves will probably have the most far-east kind of feel.  When I got to fill in the blanks for them, that's the first area I will look for inspiration.

I haven't built much in Mythruna lately, because I have been building more stuff in Minecraft (as well as playing other games, like Bioshock 1 and 2 and the Monkey Island adventure games). I added a few new videos of my Minecraft projects to my Youtube channel and am planning on making a new video showcasing my Mythruna town.
