Oh, yeah. I forgot you already said they'll be tracked by different units, not cubes.
What you're saying is definitely simpler.

I was talking about for crafting, and I think you were talking about physics? For crafting, maybe you could get more or less small blocks depending on your skill.

At least for the rough statue type things you can make now, you could just say one full block = 16 small ones (it's actually 64, but that's a bit much)

Thank you both!

Incidentally, I've tried coming up with pen/paper games too, but usually the magic system is as far as I get.

One other system (I may as well put it up, while I'm here) goes as follows:

There are three circles, mind, body, and elemental, or, changing it a bit, spirit, life, and elemental.
that's the base idea, and then I came up with some less-than-amazing ideas for specific magics. each circle has two sets of opposites, so in a diamond-shape, the opposites would be at opposite ends.
Spirit:
internal-external
light-dark
Body:
life-death
organic-mechanical
Elemental:
earth-air
fire-water

I had them set up so they could combine, and that's where it really bombed. The lamer ones were things like sky-hammer (machine death) and knock-out (internal darkness)

But the idea was there. Wink

Amen!

Quote
elemental magic forces, which the obvious ones are:
-air
-fire
-water
-earth
-life
-spirit
-gravity
-electricity
-light
-magnetism

I wanted to move this discussion where I could guiltlessly expound upon it. I have an idea for how to organize the elements

in this system:
Life and Spirit are very similar, and are the main elements. Life is calmer, and Spirit is rougher. The four "branches" (mag, light, elec, grav.) are similar to the main element that they are connected to, and the element they are lined up with. Inside the main box, there are the four contesting "facets", if you will, of each of the main elements (water, fire, earth, air).

And that's basically it. Hope it's helpful!  Wink

Heres some pics (shrunk to a small resolution):

The outside

Lower floor

Upper floor

A stairwell

My "room"

By the way, You can see from the pictures that water behaves weird (texture-wise) against glass. It would be nice if you could fix that because my base would look much cooler.
Also, for the blueprint editor, it's kind of annoying to have 32 different shapes to choose from when it's really only 5 actual shapes, just a lot of orientations. Can you make it so you choose a shape and then rotate it? And maybe add some more shapes while you're at it.  Grin
Thanks for caring! Smiley

10 is good for now. I currently have four different statues. One is a flower-looking thing, either for life or spirit, not sure yet. A pagoda-ish fountain for water. A wood/stone block floating for gravity, and a glass thing with lights that's really hard to see for light.
The last two are pretty lame as yet, I might just make them from white marble, like the others.

By the way, I have two floors, the lower is B-marble with white statues, and the upper is W-marble with black statues.
If you decide there are to be two opposite sets or have some other preference regarding which room they go in, tell me and I can do it.

I don't have pics just now, but come check out my "stronghold". It's on the map as Atlantis Minor Research, and is around 850, 400 (East of Spawntown, underwater).
I have display cases for twelve statues, and I hope to make one for each element. So, if you have any kind of list, Mr. Speed, I would love to see it. Enjoy!

Somewhat on this subject, there seem to be quite a few users who have made 0 posts and have no information but a sig that links to some website. suspicious. It's almost like they didn't even intend to add to the community. Wink

Must be a glitch then that mine spiked to what must be around 75.

I'll think on that one. It would be great if you could focus more on Mythruna.  Smiley

The earlier on you buy, the cheaper it is, right? So if I bought right now a virtual pat on the back should suffice, no?  Grin

58 FPS, 173 ping. My computer runs the current version of the game at 0-1 FPS, just an FYI. (I have an intel card)
