When running/playing the game, vsync is really the "right" way.  Leaving it off is a good way to test performance (which is why I do it) or to brag about your system specs (Dudez, I totally got 600 FPS in full screen!!!)... but it's making the whole system work harder for no good reason.
Thanks for all the information, its really given me some background on graphics.

Yea I get what you mean, I'm  a beginner in computer programming and want to be a video game programmer, its just that I've never encountered that option before. Thanks for the information.

I was just wondering about this one option on start-up for Mythruna that's called Vsync, what does it do to the game?

I scanned Mythruna with the Norton anti virus that came with my computer and it came out clean.

On 16bpp single player the FPS averages about 8 fps, then when I run 16bpp online the average fps is 2 to 3. I haven't ran online with 24bpp but when I run it 24bpp on single player the fps averages about 3. This is the latest client.log:

I used some of the recommendation you said in the other post similar to this one and its max fps was 24 but only on some occasions. Thanks for the help.

Hello I just downloaded Mythruna for the first time the other day and its really laggy on my computer I really like the game (best comments to the developer) but it only runs at maximum 15 fps on 16bpp and 0 to 5 fps on 32bpp I have an ATI mobility Radeon 4200 series graphics card.
