1. Is it hard to learn to program? (to script)
Some take to it naturally. Others find it completely frustrating. Neither are necessarily an indicator of success or failure. 2. What kind of jobs can you work you do, if you study computer programing? (I know you can program games, but there is no huge/many game developing companies in Norway)
The world today is run on software. I find it difficult to think of an area where programming hasn't touched these days. In my career, I've worked on everything from telephones/telemarketing software, Geospatial software, and Microwave network planning software to Medical Transcription services. These days I do a bit of everything but mostly data processing and visualization. 3.Do you have to be very good in math? (advanced) I don't like math very much, but my school offers 2 types of math (easy and hard) and i am currently going on the hard one. Just so that I have more to choose from later if i need advanced math.. My grades is around C in math.
Well, you have to understand the core concepts of algebra for sure. Most programming uses a very narrow subset of logic and discrete math... some of which many don't even think of as math. That being said, in most of my lines of work, that lack of advanced math has made my life harder. Especially in 3D graphics, I waste a lot of time trying to understand advanced algorithms that would come more easily if I'd finished advanced math like calculus and such. 4. IT IS NOT THAT IMPORTANT, but i'm just curious Do you earn much money if you choose this line of career? Software contracting can be very lucrative depending on where you live. Regular corporate programming jobs aren't bad either. A lot depends on your country and town, etc.. In the U.S., near major cities, software development is a very decent way to make a living. Thanks for replying! I am almost totally new to this kind of stuff. (but i think it sounds fun) You are experienced in this, so how do you suggest to start? Java? learn from YouTube? did you start by going to collage? or before that.. I need to do this in my spare time (because I do not learn anything like this on my school) I am good in algebra.

Hello, I am 16 years old, and i come from Norway I am currently going on high school ''Advanced course 1'' I think it is called in English, I'm not sure And in ca 2 1/2 years i have to choose what i want to do with my life I was thinking to study biology, but 5 weeks ago i found out that computer programing sounds cool. About 3 weeks ago I had some cool game ideas, so i started to play with ''Construct 2'' if you don't know what it is. it's a game making program (without advanced scripting). today i saw some videos on YouTube. they were using Unity3D and it looked like fun to make whatever you want, but i didn't understand nothing about all the scripting. SO.. My question is, I don't know how hard it is to learn and work with programing on an daily basis. so i hope some of you may know how it is to work with programing, and can tell me how it is 1. Is it hard to learn to program? (to script) 2. What kind of jobs can you work you do, if you study computer programing? Just so that I have more to choose from later if i need advanced math.. My grades is around C in math. 4. IT IS NOT THAT IMPORTANT, but i'm just curious Do you earn much money if you choose this line of career? -Ma9nu2 Sorry if this is not the right place to post these kinds of posts (sorry for my bad English )

I occasionally play Minecraft or Tekkit but usually I am working on the 3d rpg that I am programming.
Is it Mythruna? xD haha. What is it like? No, it isn't Mythruna. The game that I am making, Ruins of Ryth, is not like Mythruna or Minecraft. It is a futuristic rpg in which aliens attack your home city, Ryth, and then you have to play through 4 worlds and then defeat the final boss, the king of the aliens. I haven't released anything yet but I am hoping that by February I will have the first pre-alpha. I have been working on it since May of last year. I found your facebook page. i will go and give it a like is it possible to download it? Woow. It sounded like a Cool game i will try it out Thanks for what you said. That always makes me feel good. I'll let you know when the first build is done. And when I have a website...

Just remember that objects will be physical things with physical behaviors. Those things will be necessary to make anything more complicated than what can already be made. Doors, draw-bridges, etc... will all require that. Complex object assembly will require glue and hooks, etc.
Thank you for that clear answer. I am looking forward to this update.but i know it will take a wile.

Since Minecraft doesn't have real physics... maybe that's why big things are harder.
maby so then i can only wait for you to make a dragon then i hope i am not asking to much here. but if you can answer one last question that would be nice what can we do whit these things when they come out -joints (hinges, hooks, glue) -links (ropes, springs) -pulleys i dont really know alot about what they can be useful in mythruna... so if you could explain :s I'm not really sure how to respond to this without sounding condescending. So I will have to think about my answer a bit. Every phrasing I come up with so far sounds like I'm talking down to you even when I'm not. Sorry if i Ask stupid questions here... I know you are not trying to talk down to me. You are just telling me like it is. I know it sounded like a obvious question what these things are... I just don't have no experience about anything of the questions i have asked you . I will go to Google and find the answer i know you have Mutch to do whit your Job,family and DEV, Mythruna.

I don't understand why they are harder to code than anything else. Plus, I thought Minecraft already added some kind of dragon... -1. yes they have a dragon (the enderdragon) but it doesn't collide whit the surroundings. (blocks) they said that it would be hard to code them in the over world. i have no experience of how to code so idk. i just read a post on an minecraft forum I don't understand. You already can rotate a block by pressing a key on the keyboard. Either hold ctrl and move the middle mouse button or hold ctrl and use the ',' and '.' keys - 2. thx you so much for telling me that!!! i didn't know that it was possible Obviously. I cannot make people play the half-naked temporary model forever. Wink -3. yea... lol There have been long posts about this in the blog section already. -4. i will go and take a look I don't know how it works in Minecraft. Animals will breed in a logical way. That's all I can say for sure. -5. the breeding system in minecraft is not that complicated. you can make cows follow you by holding wheat in your arm. you can make them mate by giving them some wheat to each of the partners. and woops.. out comes a baby cow. sorry if i was asking questions that was a little dumb... i was just a little curious i will do more research next time before posting

idk if this is the right place to write this post but here is it. 1. you have said that you will add dragons later in game. Mojang (minecraft) also said that they wanted to add a dragon (in the over world). but said that it would be to hard to add them. because coding them would be very difficult. idk how experienced you are ( i think you are very GOOD) but do you think you can manage to code them? 2. i have one small problem about Mythruna NOW. can you make it easier to rotate blocks in different shapes in building and blueprint by pressing a key (on the keyboard) because i don't understand the system in the blueprint were the different rotations is placed. 3. are you planning to so that we can customize our own character? face, gender and hair colour? 4. what are you making in the game now? the meny and (??) 5. i know there will be cows, chichens, sheeps etc.. but will ther be breeding system just like in minecraft? or more advanced?? I have an little good news for you. i was in an LAN in my town and spreading the word about this awesome game. 30 min later 30-40 people was hardcore playing mythruna. and people asked me were i found this awesome game so congrats... you have 30-40 new mythruna FANS

I found it here. I am sorry if i missunderstood. I am from Norway and i can say that i am not very good in english writing/understanding. Mythruna life would be extremely boring if it took a full season to grow anything... so I will do shorter growing seasons. After all, if a tree grows to full size in a year then crops can turn over pretty quickly. So I think crops can produce once a week. This is 168 hours in "real life" time... and I think that's reasonable. Some plants may produce more often but 1 week is my baseline.
