Will the sizes of lizardmen be so varied that we can have something resembling a D&D Kobold?
Also, will each individual civilization or kingdom have it's own physical traits?

WINNING!
Do you think natural terrain could also have slopes? That might help to visually separate Mythruna from other, similar games.

What Is the Planet Nibiru and Is It Approaching? Also known as The Twelfth Planet or Planet X, some are warning that the wandering body of Nibiru is quickly nearing the Earth - and could cause global devastation. Should you worry?
No. I'm sure that it would be brighter than Mars at this point. If we can't see it with our own telescopes (NASA can't either), it doesn't exist.

So far, through you-tube videos, and the forums. I've seen nearly 90% Positive feed back on Mythruna, the other 10% are dedicated Minecraft fans and they say things like "F*** THIS MINECRAFT IS BETTER". True sensible people on youtube video's ask questions and like the game ^^. So far Mythruna is on a steady start and is heading for a positive future.
Yeah, it used to be much worse. Nearly 50/50... maybe about 65% positive. I think the physics videos helped a lot. It was harder to go "pfft... Minecraft!" to those. Same goes for Cubeworld. Terrain Generation? Obvious Rip. Epic action? OMG TAKE MY MONEY NOW!!!111

General Category / General Discussion / Notch's New Game?
|
on: April 08, 2012, 09:34:43 PM

Apparently Notch, the beloved creator of Minecraft (as if I needed to say that), has begun working on a new science fiction game, and it's vaguely similar to Minecraft (not really). http://www.0x10c.com/ How would you pronounce that? It seems nobody knows! This game takes place about 200 - 300 trillion years in the future, long after the formation of stars has ended. The player is the owner or pilot of his own spaceship. The game will include many interesting things such as engineering, computers/programming, space and planetary exploration, and player to player interaction, like an MMO (both singleplayer and multiplayer are planned). Notch is currently working on models, as you can see in his recent livestreams, http://www.twitch.tv/notch , and this screenshot gallery, formed by the game's new forum http://www.0x10cforum.com/gallery . In my opinion, this is quite ambitious. The planned features for the game sound amazing, and Notch has said he will try his best to make it as realistic as possible. I hope he can atleast manage to complete something nice. Discuss? Also, the game's pitch reminds me alot of Noctis IV, a small game about exploring randomly generated planets. I wonder if that is an inspiration and if anyone even knows what I'm talking about.

Nice sounds like some fun games. What do you mean get them from the library? I remember KotOR being a lengthy game.
I recall Kotor taking me 20 - 24 hours to finish. But I suppose I usually don't explore much- I finished Dragon Age in 30 hours . I would like to recommend the first Fable game (with The Lost Chapters expansion), since you enjoyed an Xbox-era rpg.

I just realized something. Dunno why I haven't thought of this before... Simians = Imga from The Elder Scrolls. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:ImgaFrom "The Red Kitchen Reader"; "I was invited to join with a small colony of Imga monkeys, who alone could gather these succulent little mice. Because they lived only on the slenderest branches of the trees, and only on the ends of those same branches, the Imga had to climb beneath them and jump up to "pick" the Kollopi from their perches. Imga are, of course, naturally dexterous, but I was then relatively young and spry, and they let me help them. While I could never jump as high they could, with practice, I found that if I kept my head and upper body rigid, and launched off the ground with a scissors-like kick, I could reach the Kollopi on the lowest branches of the tree. I believe I gathered three Kollopi myself, though with considerable effort." edit; FutureB >.>

Suggestion for weapons: Halberd,Dagger,Sword,War-Axe,Morning Star,Broad Sword,Spear,Pike...
Weapons won't be crafted like in Minecraft or Terraria. They will be molded and shaped according to the player. Actually, I have a question for you, paul. How will we "use" or fight with weapons in different ways? How will the game treat a weapon with a wooden shaft as opposed to a weapon with a wooden handle?
