I am going to reinstall windows XP then... Or get Vista or 2000. Which ever one out of the 3 that would be best. I am going to torrent the install to a disk, or just blatantly find a non torrent down load. (Search: windows xp download -torrent)

Same results, so its not a video card problem, the cpu isn't the problem, and all of the hardware/software worked previous to the upgrade... Art thou any alternative problems?
33  Player's Corner / Gallery / Re: "Hand drawn" shader... on: November 05, 2013, 02:32:17 PM
The pictures remind me soley of cell shading... It would be cool to have unlock easter eggs, like an ingame painting of one of the hand-drawn shaders, and activating it changes the shader to the hand-drawn shader, and the picture is a normal shader until you reactivate it, and you can take the painting with you to collect shader easter eggs, but I digress...
If you have any spare time, it would be cool to create a cell-shaded one kinda like DBZ or something

1. This is the same version of windows that my computer has run on before the update - Windows XP, and I didn't upgrade to any extent.

2. There is no flash drive in

Overall, I only have the VGA cord plugged into the video card, the keyboard and the power cord with no flash drives in, and if I am not mistaken, Windows XP is on the hard drive. I am going to try taking out the video card and using the onboard card, then I'll post my results.

If I flick the voltage switch to the left, it brings me to "Reboot and select proper boot device or install boot media" screen, the same screen that comes up if I unplug the motherboard to HDD red cord, so I infer that the board detects Windows and doesn't have a voltage problem... but I could be wrong about the voltage problem. The board requires like, a 400 watt power supply and the card requires a 300. I have 400 watt power supply, in which I am SUPER lucky for deciding to go with 100 extra watts; but then what is my problem?

Now that the motherboard and cpu is all in, I can turn on the computer and see the BIOS screen, but when I get past the motherboard launch, I get to the "windows did not start up properly" and all of the options lead to a blue screen quickly flash and restart. I have a good idea of what it says, something about installed software. Help?

ASUS P5GC-MX/1333 - has one PCI-x16 slot, two RAM slots, (good enough for me) and I believe I'm getting a CPU with it... 25 dollars for a 150 dollar board with an even more expensive CPU. My NVIDIA 610 should get the job done for the games I am getting... hopefully it'll run PS2 emulators, but if not I'll be ok, because I will be able to play Mythruna and Fallout 3

I'm getting a motherboard with a cpu in it for 20 dollars. Lesson learned: Friends are the best retailers.
This friend has a motherboard with (i believe) an NVIDIA graphics card, so i'll be able to put mine in finally.

After a while of staring at my computer, I finally put it back together. For some reason, I still haven't invested in a good motherboard, but alas, I'll eventually find one.

Holy graphics - this is why i'm upgrading my computer.
At first, minecrafts simplistic graphics were cute, but once they added all this stuff, it makes me want to kill Notch for not upping the graphics with a surprisingly unsimplistic gameplay. Mods are just crazy these days, I'll tell you 'hwhat

Yeah, I saw the thread stating that. I just wanted to put that in based on the combat systems.

I always found messing around with the settings of my Windows 98 Gateway really fun... it disgusts me when I see people using a Gateway as a doorstop.

Or maybe even with Paul's earlier mentioned mechanism system:

It shouldn't take entire basement to make a doorbell.
...people could make lights that extend past one block up. Modders could make that also.

So I was looking through the Mythruna gallery on Mythruna.com, and I saw a town that had about 3+ properties, and the farthest and tallest tower resembled in my mind as one of those skyscrapers you see with big glowing beams on the top.

Maybe Mythruna builders could do this with properties

Just a minor note to Paul directly:
Dont pull a minecraft and make only 3 main mobs. Even variety of one mob is better than what minecraft rolled at us.
In the latter of achievement for combat systems, strive towards closer to Skyrim than Minecrap.
 Cool
