Now, I really don't want anyone building my head, but... I did a prebuild of it for you. I'll PM you the schematic if you want it, but you have to promise not to share it around. My avatar isn't something I want pasted all over the place.

Fortunately, it should be short enough that you don't need a hole... I think.

(It's also not as pretty without color! Tongue)

wow.... ummm man that's huge.  Is there a schematic that doesn't include all the wiggly extra bits?
I just wanted to build a giant pineapple floating in the middle of the ocean.

Plus given the size of what I see there, which looks like it might break the sky limit, I don't think my minimal attention span when I play the game, would allow me to make all that stuff. I would get bored of building it like a 3rd of the way through.

Looks like fola wasn't too keen on building the pineapple after all. Can't say I'm surprised. Lol

Oh I am still quite keen on building it.  I just cant figure out how to with the shapes that mythruna provides.
A pinapple is a very unique shape.  quite difficult to figure out how to build it in mythruna.

well regarding dangers, cave/mine dwelling monsters might be a nice touch.
I watched a movie recently called "beneath". where a group of friends go splunkering in an underground cave system and discover some weird skinny humanoid monstrosities down there that could see in the dark and seemed interested in eating these people alive. like something out of one of those demonic possession movies.
all warped and disfigured and just ghastly looking and able to scale the walls.

maybe if your in a certain area there might be other things.. maybe hairy mountain trolls if your in the mountains lumbering around in the mines, or some sort of goblin type creature if your near some sort of swamps. all sorts of things..

plus there are more normal dangerous things people could come across like special types of deadly poisonous spiders only found in caves. maybe they slowly poison you to death, maybe they paralyze you and wrap you up in a cocoon, maybe they spit acid at you... or deadly killer snakes or whatever.. all sorts of different possibilities.

and I really enjoyed the minecraft concept of view limitations. your in a dark possibly narrow passage underground.
not much light. your not going to be able to see very far ahead.

very dangerous if you come to a passageway that ends in a cliff or you hit a tripwire you couldn't see in front of you and it sets off a cave in or landslide of some sort and kills you.. or you drop down an abandoned mineshaft or something.
or you accidently set off some dynamite and make huge explosions that have bad results...
all sorts of ingenious options if you can hardly see a couple feet in front of your face.

How big is this statue? In base circumference at least.  I want to make sure my giant pineapple is at least as big.

Uhm... it would exceed the build height if you matched the width of my statue. That much I can guarantee.

Well it would exceed the build height then how did you make your statue soo tall? And also, do you know how to make the shape of a pineapple using the blocks? I cant seem to figure it out. Its too weirdly shaped.

Speaking of constructing things... Rayblon, what blocks did you use to create your little pinapple mascot there?
I assume you made it in-game.

My avatar wasn't made in mythruna. I've had this long before I first played Mythruna.

Whenever I build a statue, it's made of one material predominantly... So there's lots of grey most of the time. ;3

Well then perhaps you can inform me as to how you made that shape?
Taking a page from this thread,  I am trying to create a giant pineapple in the middle of the ocean.

Grimoire

A demonic looking wolf/bat thing. like some one tried to blend together the head and body of a wolf and a bat together, but mostly the latter, and added wing flaps under the forelegs like a flying squirrel.  Makes for gliding easy after launching itself towards it's victim to tackle it to the ground and attempt to eat it alive.  Only comes out in the deep dark night time.

Found it in the evon webcomic.  But they just call it a grim.  Grimoire sounds more spooky.

Erm... A grimoire is a book. xD

In real life perhaps. But in a fantasy mideval setting, how many people do you think are going to know that off the top of their head?
It sounds spooky and forboding and has the word grim right in it. Perfect for a monster that wants to gnaw on your bones.

As you can see here, ignoring the obvious obstruction of the trees, I went step by step as the image for the muddy rogue showed and to show for it I got this.

In-game, I ended up with this mess.  Not sure where I went wrong.

Probably something to do with the difference of size in the in-game block tiles and the stuff in the image, now that I think about it.

Ok someone needs to give me the mythruna version of the dimensions of these places.

I tried attributing what I thought was the correct dimensions based on calculating the space in the pictures with those singular posts sticking out near the bottom of the interior of the muddy rogue as a measuring basis.

Didn't work so well in-game.  Got the dimensions all screwy.  Need help figuring out the correct length and width of these places please. Got almost finished with the base structure of the muddy rogue only to figure out it is way too small in-game.  Not sure where I went wrong. Help please.

I also took the afternoon off an played a board game with my son. (Lords of Waterdeep)

I have to show him that cool games aren't all electronic... just most of them. Smiley

Ooh catchy name!  Henceforth the islands that pspeed's mansion is going to be on and that the church of origin are on are called the waterdeep islands.  Cheesy

A gelatinous green jello-like blob with various human bones floating around inside it, cause when it eats you, and it will try, it dissolves you like a vat of acid, till theres nothing left but your bones floating around inside its semi-transparent globby form.
Flubber

aka gelatinous cube from d&d that's conveniently 10 ft across.

I have never played D&D and have no idea what you are referencing.
I am talking about the blobs I often find in city sewers in runescape.

They are often seen with gold coins and bits of armor and occasionally an arm or leg bone from a human inside them.  They are green like American money and are just transparent enough so that you can see all the cool loot and bones inside them.  And they try to eat you.

But you prove my point.  They are common enough to span multiple games, so they aren't something unique like creepers are to minecraft so I think we can have them without anyone whining about us stealing their idea.

And they are also in Zelda games.

Gelatinous cubes are common to the point that they're boring, is the thing. They aren't unique at all... Which is an issue in itself. Odds are, Paul has already considered them as well, so having a unique twist on the concept is important.

I sure hope he considered them. They are fun to battle! Plus, seeing as we are going for a semi-realistic theme here from what I have gathered, it will be interesting to see how he explains battling a creature that's basically a pile of jello.
