indeed. As there is money to earn ther will always be someone offering that service even if google and wikipedia closed the doors.
Lets sit back and watch, sadly there is nothing more we can do.

possibly megrim? I  have that from time to time and the common aspirin thingie does not help there at all, you need special megrim-pills there.

fun thing is, that the big busisess mronons shoot themselves in the knee.... multiple times.
I don't think they will be able to work when the huge knowledge ressource is gone. No fast-googleing in the office but paperwork research, no wikipedia no nothing.
The stupidity of these 'well educated' human alike beings makes me angry.
34  General Category / General Discussion / Re: How much do you think Mythruna should cost? on: January 16, 2012, 07:36:34 AM
Hard question and an early stage to discuss that. Thanks a lot for pointing it out so clearly!
I just want to add one point, please Paul don't think of a monthly fee for your game. I don't like these concepts at all as you never know if you have time to play the game or not.
35  General Category / General Discussion / Re: A Suggestion thread. on: January 13, 2012, 03:57:24 AM
so lets paul spam with ideas-threads and pms in the meantime. Just as it is now Cheesy
36  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Height of Height map + Can you make a new world? on: December 22, 2011, 12:48:10 AM
Trecool is right, usually people think of Mythruna as a Minecraft-Alpha-Copy.
But thats wrong.

Mythruna is in a proof-of-engine version. Paul creates the world generator, placeable blocks, miniblocks, physics etc. to have the engine to make actually a game out of it. Placing blocks will be an option to play Mythruna but you will not have to place blocks or dig around.

Stay tuned, there is a LOT to come Smiley

congrats to your first physicsteps!
Rewriting a load of code and still have a playable game is a trophy on its own Cheesy

39  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Why does it seem Minecraft is stealing Mythruna ideas? on: November 11, 2011, 02:11:53 AM
We dont want to hate MC.
I personally play and love MC to a certain point: It gets boring over the time.
Mojang gave me lots of enjoyable moments and many hours of innovative gameplay for 10 bucks. Try to find another game giving you that joy for that tiny amount of money.

Mythruna aims for an RPG, setted in a blocky world (well known by the giant Minecraft) as long as Paul finds another way to give the players the opportunities he wants us to have (what will possibly be forever Wink ).
I will continue to play both games as they get more and more different. MC is no RPG even Mojang throws atm RPGish features in it. But playing it is nothing like an RPG.
Mythruna will become a RPG as thats the goal to reach.

To draw a line, I personally will occasionally play MC but will try to support Mythruna as I love Pauls ideas and am freaking curious where Mythruna will go.
40  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Hey im just wondering if mythruna works of 64-bit on: November 09, 2011, 12:51:17 AM
Mythruna runs on a Win7 64bit on my notebook.
Check the graficscard drivers. Initially it did not run at all, after updating the drivers it works now.
41  General Category / General Discussion / Re: bulletin board in mythruna on: November 07, 2011, 01:52:29 AM
what about a central market place?
A player has a huge farm of whatever and can sell his goods there. So he puts the goods in, another player buys that later (even if the seller is not online) and when the seller goes back to the markeplace he gets the gold minus the tradingfee. So you can sell stuff without being online and its safe and simple.
Possibly these marketplaces can be build by players so they keep the fee or there is one on every server.

44  General Category / Tech Support / Re: Does Mythruna runs on Intel Cards? on: October 27, 2011, 11:56:56 PM
Well my notebook has 2 grafics cards. One is the intel integrated and one is an ATI. There is a hardware button to switch the cards. The Intel card does work but has a horrible performance.
You could try to update the drivers but I personally don't think the performance will be good if you get it working.
45  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Network Performance (was: Network Test) on: October 26, 2011, 11:59:57 PM
Thanks a lot for pointing that out!
Now I know what you have in mind for the servers.
You are not heading to get a MMO but more private servers ppl can join. Thats conept has pros and cons but the biggest pro, you can limit the access and keep out the griefing morons, is extremely important in a building game.
