Yup, Fires. Summer starts up. A few days before the 4th of july: Fires, Fires everywhere around us. My dad had to respond to 6-7 fires THIS MONTH. Today was the burn ban (July 5th) Or basicly: No burning trash, etc. Or shooting fireworks. My dad is a Volunteer firefighter. July 4th: My dad was talked into buying a "family pack". Turns out it was a bunch of crap. Artillery shells are the best in my opinion. Anyway, We are sitting there watching the crappy fire works, and way in the distance (through some trees) we could see industrial grade fire works being shot off. It was a fireworks show over the lake we live near Cheesy! Sounds like fun right? A few minutes later it stopped. My dad's radio goes off about a fire in some park, turns out the fireworks show started a HUGE fire. 30-35 Foot flames-huge. It was terrible. Luckily my dad brought a tanker down to our house to spray the grass (to help it not catch on fire) so he drove off. (Turned on the lights/sirens. They were loud Cheesy) And in return: We have fireworks to shoot off for the winter. We had to stop so my dad could go fight a fire :/. In the end we had a bad July. Not counting that we didn't even have fireworks for the 4th of July last year Smiley.

July 5th: Radio came on shouting about the burn ban "No fireworks". I live in Tornado alley AND Fire central. Cheesy happy 4th of July everyone.

Wow. I live in rain central, so fires aren't a huge issue here. (Oregon)

I live ontop of "blackgum mountain" It's more of a huge hill. If I can take a pic with my 3DS I'll show you the best looking part of where I live. It's when you drive up/down the hill. Beautiful sunsets. Usually it is rainy, but during the summer, everthing dries upfast.

We've had a pretty late summer here. It was raining just a few days ago, and the sun really started only a couple weeks ago.
