Seems like those were pretty good days to most. I unfortunately just had a 6-year brush with the 90's
I saw a few 2 people dressed as characters from that movie at the renaissance fair
#1:The renaissance fair is awesome. #2: Wouldn't they seem out of place at a renaissance fair?

The "takes me back" was kind of a play on "Back to the future..."  As was the "that's really heavy" part.

I saw Back to the Future in 1985 in the theater.

I saw a few 2 people dressed as characters from that movie at the renaissance fair

As others have mentioned, time travelers are never out of place in any time. Smiley

Personally, I prefer a blue police box to a souped up Delorian... but I'd take either if offered. Smiley

I'm lucky... my wife likes Dr. Who.  Though we still prefer the 10th doctor, we are starting to like the new one more and more all the time.

i dont know what doctor we are on, its the first season of the "new" episodes, i think dr # 8, idk he was only doctor for one season

Chris Eccleston... 9th doctor, I guess.  You have a lot of good stuff to look forward too... I hope your wife hangs on because it gets much better.

Yeah thats him lol, I still remember my dad watching the rainbow scarf doctor, thats all I remember of earlier doctors

I don't know what doctor it is, but it is the one with um.. i forget her name but she is a red head and like in her 30rd's. I cannot remember!!

Agreed 10th was my favoret. I havent gotten into the current one.

To me, Donna was the saddest companion story of all... but no spoilers other than that.
