that is the mac os download, i just want to make sure we are getting the info from the same place

it should download a zip file called Mythruna-20120627

find it, move the whole zip file somewhere else

open file

click exe

It's possible that your graphics card is not capable of running Mythruna.  I don't know anything about Macs so I can't offer further assistance on trouble shooting.

Note also that the OpenGL library that Mythruna uses (lwjgl) has problems on Macs recently.  Though if you can run Minecraft then that shouldn't be the issue.  But Mythruna requires more advanced graphics than Minecraft.  Generally there will at least be an error pop-up, though.

I found out that it requires a whole new computer my friend got a new mac and we downloaded it and worked although no computer for me Cry Sad

That's too bad.  I've seen some pretty old Macs run it, though.  Maybe it's a graphics driver issue or something.  I'm completely clueless about Macs, though.

One of two things happened:
1) An error popped up telling you what the error was, or:
2) an error.log was written to the same directory that contains the mythruna.db, mythruna.exe, etc..

Since the amount I know about Macs would fit in a child's thimble, I can't help further than that.

Before the settings window even opens?  If so then it might be that you don't even have Java installed.

If you dont have java it will not work, java is a free download
