Will avians have the option to choose between feathered or leathery (or scaly0_o) wings?
maybe with different buffs for each, like feathery being slightly faster and quieter, leathery giving you more maneuverability, and scaly a little of both ?

No, I don't plan on it.  They will have mammal-style wings.

Feathers would also be overly bulky.

I don't remember if I ever posted the concept sketches I did for how an avian will fold their wings behind them when on the ground... but it would be pretty impossible with feathered wings.
