Not directly related to Mythruna other than that some of the internal tech is transferable and it's been a distraction lately...

but I finally got this thing to the point where I original wanted it.  I mean, I could add flowers and rocks and stuff but for the most part, this is done.  I haven't checked in the latest code yet or uploaded a release but I plan to in the next day or so.  Many of you who watch my youtube channel probably already saw this:

I plan to finish the song and use it somewhere in Mythruna also.

I'm going to try to leverage this engine or something smaller but similar into some kind of simple physics networked game.  It will be a simpler platform to finish the physics networking and is likely to get hit harder in a more "pure" way if built into a smaller game.  I'm still fond of developing some kind of racing game but the thought of computer controlled racers kind of scares me a bit from a scope perspective.  Perhaps racing your own ghost and racing networked buddies will be enough to make it compelling.

I can already tell you that running around this IsoSurfaceDemo with the ground physics activated, holding down shift+control is already kind of a fun experience.  Having to plan your route to find a hill you can actually climb and then picking up enough speed going off some cliff to make it across the valley to the next ridge... you start to develop some skills after a while and it feels like there is something there.

Then again, it's also fun to lower the eye height down to 20 cm and run around the world like a bug, unable to see much of your surroundings until you find a clear hill or a gap in the grass.  Trying to identify some point of high ground and actually find a way to climb up to it while eyeball deep in grass is quite challenging.  I feel like there might be a really simple game there, too.

And as a bonus, here is the song from the video... which I will use in Mythruna somewhere at some point.
