I decided I may as well get back into Minecraft for the sole reason that I decided to remake my skin. Any of you guys go on a particular server, by chance?

Ehh, it looks like a cool mod but I want to get back into the good old vanilla experience before trying anything new.

Also, where did the term "Vanilla" come from? Is it just used to describe Minecraft without mods, or is it a universal term among games?

Vanilla means default basically. Vanilla texture pack, vanilla weapons, but it has cropped up places other than Minecraft, yeah. By vanilla, I mean no client mods is all.

Like icecream... vanilla is basically what 90% of icecream starts out as before you add things like chocolate or mint or peaches or whatever.

Vanilla = plain.  Which is too bad because vanilla is delicious.

Plain and vanilla are two different things... at least when you're dealing with yogurt.

Speaking of plain, I've been campaigning to get high-res skins supported in Minecraft. Here's to hoping that actually happens!

Campaigning these skins is brutal. Half of them want to lynch me for it!

Terafirmacraft was fun. Was on a server for awhile had a very intricate design on my house. Roof looked amazing (used chisel and pecked away at it for...... oh 3 or 4 days on just the roof alone) such a hard mod to start but everything is so much more rewarding
