I downloaded Stand-Alone, and I checked client and server version, they are the same, but i still have this error.
I am happy becouse of this IP solution, but I still want to have my own host.

Booo... I get this too with a server I just downloaded.

That means of the 450 downloads I've seen for the server, not a single one of them actually worked and no one complained.  Depressing.

There does not seem to be an easy way to fix this.  In the mean time, it looks like you will have to go back to running the server from the command line as you were originally trying (just making sure to do it from the right directory).

I plan to cut a new release tonight or tomorrow.  That will fix this issue.  Sorry for the trouble.

PS: Is there any hope for my host? (i know, that this question is problably getting annoying for you)

I don't know what's wrong with the host.  That's something to do with your network configuration.  If "ping" won't ping your host then nothing will be able to resolve it... at least not locally.  Maybe it's a case that your host name only works from outside of your network... in which case it will be tough for you to test on your own.

I will release a new client and server sometime in the next day or so.  I have to clean some things up to get the latest changes good enough to release and I don't want to spend time patching the old release when I'm so close to the new one.

Ooops.  I hate it when that happens.  I was only asking in case it helps someone else.

Thanks for letting us know that you got it working.

All about host problem, was my fault so there is no need to explain how I fixed it. By now I am only waiting for update, to log to the server without this  strange error.

The latest server release (20120308) should work now.
