I probably should post this in technical help... ANYWAY:

I just want to do an FPS Check with people using old/outdated cards (Video-cards). If you would: Post in this order:

Regular FPS:
FPS with /trees low:
FPS with /flora low:
FPS with Post-proccesing off:
FPS with Low shading:
Graphics card:
Additional specs/problems:

People with high-end cards who want to show off can post too :p.

If you have questions about something on the list, just ask.

Should I run these tests looking at a bunch of blocks, or looking up at the sky? I get a pretty big FPS difference between those two.

...I'm still waiting for some nice person who sees a big performance improvement with /flora low to run my more detailed tests and post results to that thread. Smiley

My laptop charger has been broken for 3 weeks. When it broke, my battery was dieing. I've been without a laptop for 3 weeks... To this day I still don't have it. Or any other spare computer. The only spare is broken (Recently). I'm using my 3DS right now Smiley. Trusty hand-held device. Mythruna to 3DS port is needed Cheesy.

Smiley It was just my charger. I want a new laptop anyway. The one I have over-heats and has a replacement IBM hard-drive. Only 74 Gb's of space. I'm out of space currently. Only 5 Gb's left :/

Edit: About 8 hours ago, my dad said he has a charger being sent here... My heart sank. Ughhhgghh I don't want a charger for a nearly dead laptop. I've over-heated it over 100 times(Not kidding Sad) since I've had it. (Less than a year). Games like Mythruna over-heat it. Trying to make Mythruna run fast makes it heat up faster. That's why I have a frame-rate limiter Sad... Games like Tribes Ascend run at 80 Fps, but gradually (about 3-2 rounds) degrades to 20 unbearable frames per-second...

It really sounds like a poor laptop design or faulty fans.

I have a laptop here that I have a new fan for but before that was running something I needed to finish and it started overheating.  So I took a hair dryer (on the 'cool' setting) and blow it solid in the vents.  Other than the dust that kicked up, that laptop never ran so well. Smiley
