Yeah, especially in a medieval fantasy + minor magic+steampunk setting.

Though even a two story + roof loft house would sleep 16 if they were really really cozy... like a family.

It looks small to me. Imagining six or seven other houses around there makes the whole farm look like a garden. Maybe it's just me.

So maybe it looks like a large garden.
To avoid huge sizes and still keep the impressiveness up, I could see that farm feeding 10-15 people. 30 just seems like too much.
But I'm not the only one who will be playing this game..
