Nope.  And it looks like you are in now anyway.  Must have been a network glitch somewhere between here and there.

If you are serious about your missing 'l' and are running on a DOS/Windows machine... the hold that alt key down and type 108 on the number pad. (has to be the number pad)  It might work on Linux too but I've never tried it.

I just now noticed that, and what do you mean by pressing 'alt+108' it doesnt seem to make sense to me, please explain.

Do you see the key on your keyboard that says "Alt"?

Do you see on the right side of your keyboard that you have a number pad?

Reply to this post so that you have an edit field.
Press and hold the "Alt" key.
Type 108 on the number pad.
The letter 'l' should appear where your cursor was.

You can enter in any ASCII character this way and some of us old-school guys have many of them memorized.  168 is one of my favorites... combined with 0 you can make some googly eyes: 0¿0

lol i dont have a number pad, so how would one accomplish this w/out a number pad? will they have to hook up an additional keyboard w/ a number pad?

If he had an additional keyboard then I guess his L key wouldn't be a problem.

I've never seen a keyboard without a number pad.  Even the tiny laptops had one overlayed on the regular keys if you hit a function key.

We have a dell laptop without a numpad/overlay purple or grey text on the keys standing out as numbers. The 3DS has all Symbols.
