Is the server dead? I can't connect to it! Nope. And it looks like you are in now anyway. Must have been a network glitch somewhere between here and there.

(has to be the number pad) It might work on Linux too but I've never tried it.

Do you see the key on your keyboard that says "Alt"? Do you see on the right side of your keyboard that you have a number pad? Reply to this post so that you have an edit field. Press and hold the "Alt" key. Type 108 on the number pad. The letter 'l' should appear where your cursor was. You can enter in any ASCII character this way and some of us old-school guys have many of them memorized. 168 is one of my favorites... combined with 0 you can make some googly eyes: 0¿0

If he had an additional keyboard then I guess his L key wouldn't be a problem. I've never seen a keyboard without a number pad. Even the tiny laptops had one overlayed on the regular keys if you hit a function key.

We have a dell laptop without a numpad/overlay purple or grey text on the keys standing out as numbers. The 3DS has all Symbols. «»‹›ºª¿¡←→↑↓√§¶†‡|—¤$¢€£¥™©®×±∞ˇ˘˜¸˛µ°¹²³♭♪•…¬¯‰¼½¾⇒⇔●◆■▲▼☆★♀♂ ενεη тнιş σωσ (Maybe not every symbol) π Pi. for you. ππππππ озо…
