I have attempted to run both Single Player and Multiplayer but the game never pulls up.  Once I hit Connect, the window closes and I generate what appears to be an error report where I keep the extracted files.  Would you like to take a look at one of these?

Yes, please.  You can paste it here if you like... or file a bug report.  But you can start here then you don't have to create an account there.

Off hand it sounds like it may be a rendering problem.  So useful information would also be what graphics card you have and whether you are running the latest drivers, etc..

Sorry you are having issues.

Theoretically that card should be fine.  Are the drivers the latest?

An OpenGL style diagnostic like http://www.realtech-vr.com/glview/download.html might be better to diagnose assuming a driver refresh isn't the issue.

Nope, his drives aren't up to date.
It says in his DXDIAG when his last driver update was, 2010.

Well I checked my gfx drivers for my manufacturer and they are the latest, as is my DirectX version with Microsoft.  DirectX states the latest version is a 2011, but it seems the update from my 2010 version wasn't necessary.

Historically, ATI was slow to fix bugs in their OpenGL support though this has gotten better.  At any rate, it's extra important with ATI cards to make sure that the drivers are as recent as possible to get the best support for OpenGL games.

I think others are running the game with the same card as what you run so maybe I will check around to see what they did.

There is a new version up as of this afternoon (and the other day too but let's go with the most recent).  While I don't expect it to fix your problems, the error log on crash includes a lot more juicy information now.

...so if you could please download the latest and try running it again?

Actually... the error log was the perfect one to send.  It has lots of good info but a notoriously unhelpful error message from the ATI drivers. Tongue

Sorry you are having problems running.

Can you confirm that you have the latest drivers for your card?  I'm not up to speed on what the latest ATI drivers are but I know it's generally critical to have them up-to-the-minute if possible.

Thanks.
