Why wouldn't you just chat in the game?

That's the thing, the chatroom wouldn't have many people either. Maybe a few random people. And I wouldn't be on It sitting idle :/. We have to wait until this game hits the point to where the IRC would have at least 6-10 people in it at a time. People dedicated to be sitting in the chatroom. That would be people wanting to hear what the developers are doing. Unless Paul wants to try being on the IRC, you could leave it up for later use.

[snip] and its not like i need introducing

Sure, my post was intended as basic information. I'm sorry if you feel offended, that was not my intention.

@topic in general:
I do not understand why you guys don't get Pauls point... Lets try it this way:

Situation atm:

Costs for get someome informed to maintain the website > Costs maintaining it by himself

Thats it. The costs of time and effort are higher at the moment to handle somebody, no matter how good he is, then doing it by himself. That situation can change, if he needs support he will ask.

Of course you want to help and show your support for the project, and thats perfect!
So why not spread the word, test the game, find bugs and report them. Thats the current point we can help Paul most.
