Cleaned up the signature line, didn't bother with the flashy buttons for now. For some reason though, i reuploaded my avatar to imgur but it's not sticking.

Heh heh. I spent a good while just reading through old replies to this thread. The chat lounge is a time capsule of sorts and I love it. Granted, a good chunk of it is us talking about the lack of activity, but it's still nice.

Reworld seems interesting.

I don't know if you've been getting this or not but this error has been happening lately. NBD, but thought you should know.

Speaking of game mechanics, this video shows some pretty neat properties of fire, electricity and light that might make for some interesting interactions and features. Namely, the idea of using nonvisible light and electricity being able to 'spread' through fire, in a sense, due to the ionization of the air.

In honor of going a month without a single post, I suggest a dust mechanic that slowly makes abandoned buildings dusty as this train seat.

Been thinking about something. Studies have shown that exposure to moderate levels of radiation, solar radiation being a prime example, actually protects against cancer by training the body to repair, or destroy, cancerous cells more efficiently. We know that having too little exposure to magic energy is deleterious... but what about too much? Would overexposure to light energy eventually result in the player becoming bloodlit, or too much life energy over too long a period result in some kind of uncontrolled tissue growth?

Nice! That bookshelf in particular is pretty badass. Don't forget that you can use multiple blueprints together for even more freedom.

thanks man Cheesy

u can probably squish more blueprints together right?

You can get pretty crazy with blueprints. I made apretty respectable shrine entirely out of blueprints, and I know of at least one hyper detailed statue made using only blueprints.

A week late follow up to that "funny" physics bug.  It's especially interesting because that video got more traffic than most of my videos so now I'm always on the look out for other strange bugs I can post videos of.

It was probably popular because watching you throw a marble into a ship and causing it to have a seizure is hilarious. Wink

Oh yes.

Real talk, gag magic would be amazing. Nothing useful or dangerous, but amusing or mildly annoying to the recipient at worst.

Heheh... a spell you can cast on someone so that everyone they see looks like stiff block models for some period of time.  Ultimately mostly harmless... but potentially hilarious, too.

A wonderland spell that makes monsters look like teddy bears and candy. Dying is just you getting hugged and falling asleep.

Or a spell that turns the target's head into a giant nose, allowing them to sneeze as an attack.

The possibilities!

I'm glad you're developing in a way that best suites your schedule. Also seeing those guys flopped on the floor in a shrugging position is some /r/meirl material.

I want this to be a spell.

It just petrifies people into an eternal shrug.

Heheh.  I suspect it won't be as funny with "real" models... so maybe part of the spell is turning them into boxy minecraft-style men.

Oh yes.
