Well, I had an interesting experience with anger about two weeks ago now. I admit, I was annoyed, and I was angry about something the day before (but let's not discuss that). Within my fit of rage, I punched my laptop, and the screen is currently shattered. When I saw that the screen was shattered, I said to myself, "Oh no.." Even though I realized mentally what I've done, I didn't snap out of it until I heard a large shatter.

What happened was I punched a mirror right behind the laptop. My hand got cut up bad (and it still is, but it works again). After that, I could only see about 5% of my screen, on the right side. I got to clean up glass, bleed on the carpet, and use iodine to stop the bleeding for the first time. Anyways, I'm now on the laptop again. After that, I was encouraged to get the VGA chord and the power chord for this monitor that I had stored for a while (the resolution is 1440x900).

Now I've learned not to punch technology, or mirrors. That was my spill of fun for a while.

Friendly advice: do whatever you can to overcome that sort of anger.  In the end it can mess up more than just property.

Yikes. Well, at least you had a backup monitor, so it wasn't as bad as it COULD have been.

Of course, some people don't even have computers to come home to, so there's that too.
