For some reason, on your platform:
"I".toLowerCase() results in "ý" instead of "i".
I've changed my code to do the same thing as Java's bean utilities but I don't have much hope. Being able to upper and lower case letters in a consistent way is the corner stone of the beans API. If it really is locale specific then I can probably work around this case but it makes me wonder what other letters are lurking in the shadows.
