Just wondering if Mythruna would be compatible with the iPad2? Santa might be bringing my son one for Christmas Maybe in the way far flung future there will be a toned down client that will run on Android and iPad. But I make no promises. The jMonkeyEngine guys are working on iPhone support (already have Android support) but even when that's available, the client will have to be simplified a lot in both UI/controls and functionality in order to fit and run on a tablet. Maybe by then they will be more capable.

Does that mean there could be support for OUYA?

It's the shapes on the four controller buttons. Like x, square, circle, triangle on PlayStation. It's also hard to pronounce. (Ooya? Woahyuh?)

I think the OUYA will flop pretty badly, ultimately. I can't remember if I've talked about that here before or not.
If it does do well then I will look at it again... but really Android in general is what I'd be looking at and then the OUYA version is just sort of incidental. <- which by the way is what "every other dev shop is thinking" and why it will flop with a lack of exclusives.
But I hope they do well because it will be a neat platform if so. I just don't understand who their market is and I think they don't either.

Their Kickstarter got $8.4 million, so they can't do too badly. Unless they make them really terrible and all the supporters demand a refund or something.

My guess is that the kickstarter represents their entire market. So maybe 50,000 users or so.

Well, when Android games go for $1-4 on average that's not a very encouraging market. And the hardware is a generation behind already. Next years tablets will probably already be better and can plug into a TV right now. And, it's a tablet too.
