Title: Account
Post by: Michael on April 24, 2013, 01:15:31 PM
I was previously by the name of Unnaturallife, no longer wanting that title I got a new one of Shzylo. I want my login information to change, so will I be able to change my username if you get into the PhpMyAdmin database and change it, or will I have to create a new account? If I create a new account, can I have all my data from my previous account shipped to the new one?

I will not be doing database surgery.

Actually, it looks like I can change your user name manually.  Though I'd rather not make a habit of it.

Shizlo is what you want, right? ;)

You should've played a prank and mis-spelled it to "Shzulo"

If you tell a joke enough times then it gets funny again... often for different reasons, though.

I would just like to state, I don't really like anymore how you guys mess with my current name, it was funny the first couple times it happened, but it is just an annoyance and is offensive to me now, I beg you guys to please Just spell the name correctly and to pronounce it correctly as Zh-eye-low.

At the risk of making things worse, my first reaction was "Lighten up, Francis"... which is a reference probably most of you won't get. :)

I think Iggyjechle is right, the last thing you want to do is feed a troll. If you don't feed them they will starve and retreat back to their cyber-caves.

Maybe I have a thick skin because the last name of "Speed" has heard about everything.

My favorite was probably the coworker who saw my door tag "PSpeed" and contemplated how you would measure that... which launched us into a long conversation about whether it was flow rate or velocity...

re: "Lighten up, Francis"... "And don't call me Shizlo... if you call me Shizlo, I'll kill you."

13 year olds don't have to have a lot of money yet, at least not $50 to spend on a game.
I, however, will be starting a job next week and will be donating shortly after ;)

My dad is in the chicken business. He just sold 6 Partridge Wyandott eggs (Hatching eggs) for 72$ on E-bay. (Not including shipping). He does this as a hobby. I even have my own chickens (2 black Wyandotts). The hen is a  sweetie :D. My dad wants to give me some more chickens to sell eggs and earn my own money to buy stuff. My dad also introduced "Buff Columbian Wyandott"'s to the U.S... I would say more but there's too much to say :)...

I always thought it was funny... my home owner's association rule book specifically forbids raising chickens.  I try to imagine the story of what made them single that out specifically. :)

Note: life is funny if you look at it sideways.  For every mundane thing there is almost always a sideways way to look at it that makes you go "hmmm".  For example, imagining why specific rules exist.

One of my favorite sideways-things to think about is the happy meal toys.  No matter how stupid or bizarre the toy is, you have to figure that a group of guys who wear suits and ties to work every day sat around and approved that toy.

...or the "poop bag" business.  Those little rolls of baggies that you use to pick up after your dog.  Imagine: right now there is probably a guy trying to figure out how he can break into the poop bag business.  Or some company trying to figure out how they can make and market some incremental improvement to get you to buy their poop bags instead of someone elses.  And there are actually "cut rate" poop bags because we got a few rolls by accident and they were horrible.  The whole idea is so funny.

...and don't even get me started on candy flavors.

The world is awesome.

No, the world is awesome because of people starting a business without cracking a smile about their own product. For example, (If you've watched the commercial) the toy called "Doggy Doo".

I decided I would try my hand at raising chickens. Fun stuff, I have had 16 chicks for 3 weeks now. I have learned a bunch about them and have put my designing and carpentry skills to work building their coop and run. I know this is off topic but saw chickens and thought I'd share.

I hope It's warm where you are. Nobody (chicks) likes the cold. I can't tell... But we probably have 100-80 chickens here. My dad lets me feed his prized rooster/hen. Funny thing is that my Dad's rooster hates other roosters, but loves people (For food though hah). I've tamed it enough to being able to eat out of my hand :). He has recently let me pet him (Literally like grab him basically) without flipping out. Chickens are cute! When not covering me in scratches while I try catching them to move them from pen to pen of course. haha. Talking about something I know about is too fun. Need to start a topic called "Guide to chickens" xD. Anyway, what kind of chicks do you have? I might know what they are ;) hehe.

When I started working on Mythruna, I stopped watching TV.  For a few months I watched nothing at all but now I do one show a night on Netflix with my wife and the occasional movie.

I haven't watched "TV while it is happening" in two years.

Fade in, an anthropomorphic pot is dialing a phone...
beep-boop-beep-beep...
*ring*...*ring*....
Pot: Hello.  Yes, can I speak to kettle please?
*pause*
Pot: Yeah, just tell him this is Pot.
*waits*  Pot twirls old-style curly-cue phone cord in his fingers.
Pot: Oh... hey, yeah.  Kettle, this is Pot.
*pause*
Pot: Fine, man, fine.  I just wanted to call to say...
*pause*
Pot: Yeah, yeah, she's fine too.  Anyway, what I was saying...
*pause*
Pot: Nah, we're going this weekend... yeah, we can meet you there at 5ish.  No problem.
*pause*
Pot: Oh, yeah... the reason I called.  Dude, you are one black son-of-a-gun...
