Awesome, thanks for the info
2  Modder's Workbench / Scripting / Re: Why Groovy? on: April 22, 2013, 11:11:52 AM
Hmm, how well would bukkit plugins like logblock/worldedit (The BIG ones) work in groovy? Will there be the option to make plugins with java?

In other words, will we be able to make large plugins without affecting the servers performance?
3  Modder's Workbench / Scripting / Why Groovy? on: April 22, 2013, 09:21:53 AM
Just wondering about the reasons for choosing groovy?

Sweet! Thanks :3

Wow, that is saddening news, I bid you the best of luck for the upcoming surgery.

I would suggest looking at natural treatments as a secondary to the surgery. I'm not saying they work, I'm not saying they don't work. But it is an option and there are people who would bet their own lives on that it works. Most natural treatments I have heard of are not harmful at all, so its worth a shot right?

Either way, my thoughts go out to you and your family!

I'm a great fan of RSS(Its amazing ok!) and receive a few hundered new entries every day so I'd really like it if I could get a feed for the blog section.

oh, and the sub action "News" please Smiley

(p.s. Not sure this is the right place, but general disc. didn't feel right either)

Interesting, I'll add it to the index for other players
10  General Category / Tech Support / Client is not recieving UDP messages from the server on: April 21, 2013, 07:32:49 AM
Same problem as here.
http://mythruna.com/forum/index.php?topic=1409.0

Can we get a thread to report this exact problem?
11  General Category / Tech Support / Index(Check here first) on: April 21, 2013, 07:28:09 AM
Remember to check what the error is in the "error-xxxxx.log" file, it may give better indication of what the problem is.

Login:
- Client is not recieving UDP messages from the server. Please make sure that UDP port 4234 is not blocked.

Crashes/Start up problems: (The second line normally give the error, so see if anything here matches that.)
- ConnectorException: Connector closed
- "Wai the game no work when I run it out of the zip?!?" -- No link... Extract the zip first!
- GLSL and OpenGL2 is required for the LWJGL renderer!
- Opening single players crashes game
- java.lang.RuntimeException: Error configuring channels
- java.lang.RuntimeException: Error accessing entity database
- Opening Mythruna gives a Java error - Windows 8
- com.jme3.renderer.RendererException: Shader link failure
- java.net.ConnectException: connect: Address is invalid on local machine, or port is not valid on remote machine
- org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: No support for WGL_ARB_multisample
- com.jme3.network.kernel.ConnectorException: Error reading from connection to:

Bugs:
- Reserved for when pspeed releases the new version
(He is busy redoing most game mechanics, so I won't track bugs at the moment)

Graphics Card Compatibility List
Here

Odd Bits:
- Game mode
- Is the area of my property limited? Can I only have one property?
- TUTORIAL: How to make a Mythruna Server
- TUTORIAL: how to become server admin.
- How do I create a stand alone server?
- Stand-Alone Server Daemon Mode

I will remove most of these links and redo it once the new version is released
If I missed something, please link me to it Smiley

Also, could we get this stickied?
12  General Category / Tech Support / Re: [crash] ConnectorException: Connector closed. on: April 20, 2013, 05:40:52 PM
Nah, I can connect to the server just fine, it happens randomly, boot up the game again and it is fine.
13  General Category / General Discussion / Non public updates? on: April 20, 2013, 04:18:33 PM
Side question first:
I noticed that the mythruna pre-alpha download under http://mythruna.com/download-now/ is marked 20120627 which by my brain say that the last update was on 27-06-2012

Have there been any releases since then?
(As I'm new to the community I'm a bit confused by it, and may have missed something)
