Off out tonight with the scope to spot the asteroid. Smiley
For this one, you won't need a scope. Not because it's bright, but because it's going so dang fast. (Not as fast meteorites though)

Well I was out with my astronomy group last night. We had 12 scopes, the largest being 14" aperture, but none of us managed to positively ID the asteroid. It was just too faint.
One of the group did manage to capture it on a long exposure (2 minutes) through his scope from home though:
