I'm not sure I understand the point of this post. sorry, I could connected to the old server.. the world map is so great.. thx for doing that.. most of old games do not work under new hardware or os-software.. or the support or the devs... cu cHyper. |

When you run the game you get a menu like this:  Then click "Multiplayer" Then with the default server in the box, click connect:  Then you get a screen like this:  Then if you already have a user and password on my server, you can login. If you don't then you can create a new account. To help more, I will need to know which part of this process didn't work for you. thx for info. |

Whats the current server IP or Hostname?    It's built into the game. It's the default address when you try to connect. I try to keep it off of the internet because in the past when my IP gets posted to the internet it increases the frequency of hack attempts on my firewall. what doesthat mean for my game? when I connect to your server nothing happens at he moment ;-) |

I saw you in and hopped on... then you left.
I don't know if you saw my chat messages.I can copy a password from one account to another without decrypting it... so I could make your regular account match the new one you created. Since these passwords are just MD5 hashed, I could probably also recover it and PM it to you. I updated the system to sha256 ad some point but that may have been in the unreleased engine. |

I uh... tried logging in to find it in world and, well, apparently i forgot my password lol I suspect you will not be the only one. Even I got lucky. I will need to figure out how to deal with this. When I read those threads over and over looking for the location, I saw indications that you may have PM'ed the location to some folks in which case it might be in your outbox on here. Edit: it was nice to see confirmation that the external ports are still mapped... because I do see your login attempts in the log. I thought so too, but I guess I deleted them to keep you from peeking. Biting me in the ass now lel. |
