Are you able to start a world, with no buildings? and maybe have it a little flatter?

Flatness is based on location... but generally the world is pretty bumpy.  You can find some larger flat areas if you walk a while.  In the default world, around -200 x 1000 is a pretty decent sized continent with large rolling hills.

If you want the default world without buildings then after you start single player for the first time, close the game, go into the mythruna.db directory and delete the contents (not the directory, just the files in it ) of node-0x0x0.  This will cause the starting area to regenerate without any buildings.

If you want a different world seed then you can change the seed to some other number in the mythruna.db/world-info.json file.  Then delete the node-* directories and rerun the game... you will get a completely different world.

I tried the seeds. Your seed 100 is cool (many more caves than I thought) and if you go to seed 99, you get a huge canyon at spawn perfect for castles overlooking the canyon. I found no reasonable flat area, except about a 10x30 size at most (with trees).

They will always have trees... and sometimes it depends on what you mean by flat.

Now that I've built a farm, I notice flat land a lot more than I did before. Smiley  The larger the body of land, the more likely that there will be some larger flat areas... at least in my experience.

I haven't tried seed 99 before... now I'm really tempted. Smiley

When there is a UI for entering "seeds" it will be more fanciful.  I can already see that I'm going to have to provide a way for users to export their world's seeds for others...

That didn't work, it recreated the directories

You weren't supposed to remove the directory.  Only the files in it.  Like I said above a few different ways.

If you remove the files inside of node-0x0x0 then it will regenerate the world (same seed unless you changed it) without buildings.
