I was wondering, does anyone know how many people currently play this game, and, if nobody knows, is there any way I could find out?, Thx Bennyworld

I can tell you that the windows version of the 20120627 release has been downloaded over 90,000 times.

I would give a good estimation of maybe.. hmf.... 50-60,000 total from all over Earth and Mars.

I haven't released in a while so I don't know what current numbers are. What I used to use as a gauge was how many downloads happened in the first 24 hours.
As I recall, with the last release I got like 600+ downloads in the first day or something. Then 10,000 for the month maybe.
I can actually build tracking into the new version but it gets a bit weird.

Imagining Paul make the system and see how many people played, then sits there for an hour and sees a new IP download it and goes "OMG someone else downloaded my game!!! And another!!"

Gone are the days when I refresh the download stats every five minutes. I've even gotten over the times when my facebook like count diminishes. In the early days, I had an urge to track people who unliked the page down to find out why.
