I had me screen set regular width just to test placement of the first page of the menu.  The rest of getting the menu done is mostly just editing the groovy config script and making sure the options and stuff are properly hooked up.

Those who have been following along closely may recognize this as the last step before I release a pre-pre-pre-release test engine to donators.  This engine is strictly read-only but I still thought people might have fun testing it... and I wanted the in-game menu to allow toggling or tweaking the various graphics features to test performance.

Yep.

though remember... the engine basically does nothing right now.  You fly around and that's it.  No collisions, not editing, etc...

Physics is next after that.  Then the fun really starts. Wink

Is that your worlds seed on the main menu?

honestly, random seeds, saving worlds and moving spawns are more important than gameplay (to an extent).

Very important but I will be most excited when there are things to gather and do. This is a very important step though. Physics and combat will be very fun to test and play with.

DOH! When I checked the forum on my phone I thought that picture was the main menu with your world in the background.

So you aren't releasing anything to the non-donators?

Not yet. Until he fixes up stuff for a public release, not yet. That, and donators can help determining performance differences/bugs during these stages.

Not until the release is done.

As Moonkey says.

This way I get to give the big donators and regular donators some perks and get some early limited testing in also.

Kind of like a "Closed beta testing" thing. Fun!

The advanced options page only has one setting right now.  I'll fix that later.

I also shot a video but I still have to edit it and upload it... that will wait until I get some sleep.

This looks amazing Paul and I hope the menu animations are just as amazing. I also like how each page looks different from each other.
